Oh yes 100 times yes. This place is the best!! For the past year l have eaten there weekly. The food and service are consistently GREAT. In this age of to go and delivery they have good forks.
Been here a few times and I must say the food and service are excellent. Purchased a fish meal today with some cod bites and the fish was beautifully seasoned. Everything was delicious and the staff is very engaging!
Everything is Made from Scratch. Please Go an Enjoy.
Great experience, Nice to have some real food in the area.
Food was horrible they should be ashamed of there selves to be serving this to customers this is not brown stew chicken it didn't even have gravy like brown stew chicken is suppose to. It tasted like grilled chicken drenched in bell pepper with no I had to force myself to eat it without almost throwing up couldn't even finish it. On top of that the food is overpriced $10 for this not even worth $5. I don't recommend no one to eat here.
The food is great, and the service is impeccable. Prices are reasonable, as well. Will continue to visit
1st and last time at this restaurant. The customer service is nice, but the price and wait for the food that you get is ridiculous. Paid over $16 for 2 large and 1 medium sized oxtails. The sauce was not your traditional Jamaican oxtail sauce, it was watered down and taste like beef stock. Oxtails was tuff. The stewed chicken had no gravy and tasted like boil water with salt. The cabbage and rice had no seasoning. Everything tasted like salt. I normally don't leave negative reviews, but for the price and my husband complaining it was a waste of time and money. We didn't eat it. I wish I would had read these reviews before I purchased. I wish I could add a picture. But it want let me.
Food is fantastic! Authentic Caribbean cuisine, good sized portions, pleasant staff, run by owner, clean... I come here once or twice a month now for 2 years and never disappointed. I always do take out, but it is never crowded. It's a small establishment, but I like the family feel. Well worth the money.
I love jerk and this place really knows how to do it right!! Really good food!!
Very good Jamaican food. The prices are reasonable. Staff very friendly.#hiddengem
Expensive prices with small portions and flavorless food.
I went in tonight to grab take out and was treated like a queen. Wonderful customer service! I got the oxtail and my husband got the jerk chicken. Both were incredible and priced well. Happy to find such a yummy spot right down the road from home. This will be a regular restaurant for us!
Visited here based off reviews. It seemed promising. Pulled up, plenty of parking. The place itself was roomy as well.I wasn't impressed though. Don't get me wrong. The staff I encountered was very nice and engaging. That alone gives them points in my book. I was disappointed by portion size and flavor. I ordered the jerk chicken lunch. I think what I didn't care for is that they were wings and I don't care for chicken with the skin on. Normal sized jerk chicken, I can just peel the skin off...which is what I would normally do. I saw pics online of the lunch portion. However, what I received seemed smaller than that. I would definitely give them another try and choose another entree.
My favorite place to eat Jamaican food. Freshly prepared and delicious
The pasta was so delicious!! They treat you like family!
Amazing family restaurant. Very personable and really knows their food. You can talk about food with them all day, because it's clearly their passion. Their plantains are sweetly ripened with no extra sugars. Everything is spiced just the right amount and the meat is fall off the bone. I strongly suggest trying their patties and the mac and cheese too!
Always GREAT food and AWESOMELY friendly staff!! Denise is the BEST!
Absolutely the best oxtails I’ve ever had! My husband had the jerk chicken pasta and that was just as tasty. If your in the Suwanee area you must try Country Peppers out...you won’t be disappointed.
Went here after work on Friday. The people are very nice. The restaurant was clean. Ordered the jerk chicken overall the food was ok good. The jerk didn't have the full taste was looking for but I did eat it all gone.
It is definitely a mom and pop shop. But the hostess is really nice. And I do like the food.
We have been eating here for over 2 years and it never disappoints. The food is absolutely delicious!! My husband gets the jerk chicken and the kids and I get brown stew chicken with callalloo. We recently tried their butter beans and they are awesome too! Great job Country Pepper you guys know what you are doing!
Really Expensive food money you spend and food you get it’s shameful never ordering from here
LOVE the Jerk Chicken here. And the patties, when they have them. The brown stew chicken is my second favorite dish. My sister loves the escovitch fish with the pickled cabbage & carrots. My friend gets the jerk wings. I have brought several folks here and they all love whatever they try!
Do not get the macaroni and cheese. It is dry. They just boil the noodles and pour a cheese sauce on top.
Good food, friendly staff
Food was awesome, service was great and the price was right. I came here for lunch and got the Jerk Chicken plate and everything tasted great and it was a good size portion. It came out steaming hot and the chicken was cooked perfectly, the rice and beans were seasoned well and even the cabbage was really good.My friend got the Oxtail plate with mac and cheese and he said it was really good too. Our waitress said the mac and cheese was a little more liquidy than usual but it was still good. Our server was really nice and very personable. I would love to try some other things on the menu so I'm definitely planning on coming back.
Incredibly authentic, delicious Jamaican food!
Fantastic food! Small place, but probably the best jerk chicken that I've ever tasted. The cashier (possibly manager) was super friendly even when a co-worker was being confrontational with her in front of me. I appreciate her being professional and kind. I'll definitely be back.
Wonderful people in a clean laid back setting. AWESOME food. Decent price.... Who can complain?
You can tell the food is made with love! Definitely stop by if you have the chance
A wonderful experience. Great real Jamaican food! Well seasoned and cooked! I will eat here again and again!
Well while the staff was extremely friendly, I believe it could have been a little more professional. The food was freshly prepared. Would have liked a little more seasoning. Overall a pleasant experience.
Very nasty food. The wait was horrible and I was the only customer. This is not authentic Jamaican food. It’s a shame because they are all Jamaicans in there. Will not recommend nor will I ever return.
I was trying to find a good Jamaican restaurant near my new job. I was so disappointed so not the real jamaican food I'm use to. I didnt not taste good, the portion was small and overpriced. Oh yes she/they got me but never again. I will have to drive to Lilburn to A Taste of Paradise. Great food, twice the portion and way cheaper! The food is always consistent.
Great service, delicious food. You know a place is good when you can smell the incredibly aromas from the parking lot when you pull up. Food is very good. No skipping on spices or slow cooking here. Highly recommend this place. They've won a few awards, and for good reason.
Food was great!!! Patties were of the chain!!!
Very good authentic Jamaican food with great customer service.... this place is definitely worth a visit!
The staff was lovely and the food is adjusted for an American palette. A touch more salt and a touch less spice than the others. But it was fairly priced and tasted fantastic. Great lunch spot. If I lived in the area I'd definitely go back.
This place was nice outside and in. The curry chicken was good not great but good. I had the jerk chicken I expected it to be a little more spicy but it wasn't. I would say the gravy to rice ratio was on point. Customer service was great as well. They weren't busy but told me they had no beef patties so I had to go to another restaurant for that.
Came here with a friend and we had great service. The atmosphere there is very nice, so was the music. Price is very reasonable and there's a good menu and selection of food. Dem have everything from oaxtail, curry goat and suh much more! Bathroom is spick and span! Wen mi lef mi belly full.
Awesome food.. Awsome people I went there sick and to my surprise the lady there offered me some ginger tea.. This was my first time there therefore I will be a faithful customer 10 stars.. This is truly customer service at its finest..
Oxtail was tender, with a depth of flavor that I truly enjoyed. The sides were good too. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Prices very reasonable, and generous portions! The only reason I took a star off was lack of attentiveness from the waiter. That being said, we enjoyed our experience overall and will be back.Update: service was exceptionally warm and attentive. Loved my meal and dining experience!
What a wonderful family owned business. We were just passing by and started searching for somewhere to eat. The food is delicious and the service just so warm and GREAT, PEOPLE FRIENDLY. DO NOT THINK TWICE COME HERE AND ENJOY.
This is a quiet, tucked away Jamaican restaurant with very traditional food prepared with care. There are neighborhood regulars always stopping by and the staff knows their meals immediately which gives the restaurant a very familiar and comfortable setting. The service is a little slow but I admit we came at a very late lunch hour. Regardless, the wait was well worth the time and i would do it again.
This was probably the worst jerk chicken & festival I've ever had. The festival tasted like straight corn meal and the chicken had no flavor an just tasted like black pepper.. I was very disappointed that I spent $10 on food that I didn't eat. I grew up in the Caribbean an could never in good conscience recommend this place.
Amazing place. Food is great, excellent service. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere! My go to for Jamaican! It doesn't get any better.
Amazing food long wait
Delicious flavorful food in a friendly family run environment.
Went for business lunch with some colleagues who had never had Jamaican cuisine. Owner (cook?) greeted us and fully explained the diverse menu. The goat curry wasn’t ready yet so I ordered brown chicken. The cook saw my disappointment so hurried up and made some goat just for me. Very good. Colleagues had Oxtail and Jerk Chicken pasta. Everyone was surprised at how delicious it was. We even got some free pattys for waiting for the goat!I shall return soon with my daughter who is a goat curry fanatic.Great place.
The food serve over here is good. Real Jamaican food. Keep it up
